Seasonal flowers are available by the stem, bucket, or bouquet. All of my flowers are grown outdoors with consideration to the earth, which is so generously providing for us all. I implement as many sustainable practices as I can into my work, including a solar powered flower studio. I harvest at just the right stage of the flower's life, ensuring you the longest time to enjoy your blooms.
Wedding & Event Florals
I am passionate about creating natural floral designs tailored to each individual couple while appreciating what the season has on offer . I do my very best to accommodate all of my clients, respecting their preferences, budgets, and needs. If you wish to purchase Design Your Own buckets I am happy to harvest a variety of flowers and foliage for you to enjoy.
Blooms
My creative process puts nature first & for that reason the season and what the garden has on offer is my final determining factor in what flowers I am using week on week. Changing and adjusting with each season gives us all the opportunity to stop and appreciate the finite lives & beauty of cut flowers.
A Bit About Myself...
I have always gravitated towards visual arts & nature. I went to University for Sculpture, focusing on Foundry, & worked as a welder for years. Needing a change I shifted into the floral industry and worked as a designer for nearly ten years in both wedding and retail positions in the United States and here in New Zealand. This gave me an opportunity to learn both the practical side of the floristry as well as develop my own style.
I live in Puhoi with my fiancé, Hugh, and our two Italian greyhounds, Frank & Lorraine.
